Welcome to my Website!

-James B. Phillips

I'm a major in Structural Engineering at UCSD. Within my latest work at the school, I've focused primarily on Aeronautic structures, although most of my education has been focused on Civil Structures built from steel.

I have a couple of my latest projects linked above, as well as a few of the hard skills relevant to my abilities as a Structural Engineer, Resume, LinkedIn profile, and a tab that's just about other things I'm interested in so you can get to know me better. This also includes a personal project that's related to Structural Engineering but I saw more fit to list it under hobbies, as it's not an engineering project per se.

A little about me

I got into Structural Engineering through a love of physics. Specifically, I loved mechanical physics, and how the more I delved into the subject, the visible world around me made more and more sense. Structural Engineering became a natural extension of this passion, so that I could go deeper, and understand the world I move through better and better.

In that spirit, I have a couple of the recent projects I've been involved in described above.

I'd love to work for your company! Take a look at my Resume!
